On Friday November 4, the NRCL and the Department of Primary Industries sponsored a Trees Victoria forum on growing trees for biodiversity and production. NRCL CEO, Dr Anthony Hooper spoke on biodiversity and farm tree growing. Other speakers were Hugh and Anthony Stewart, and Malcolm Tonkin from HVP Plantations.

Mission
The August 2010 Board meeting developed a new mission, vision and strategic objectives for the NRCL.
NRCL will be an innovative and strategic leader in the promotion of conservation ideas and actions that value, conserve and restore ecosystems in a changing environment characterised by climate change, drought and fire risk.
