National Water Week Programs
During National Water Week (19th-25th Oct), NRCL are offering unique programs for Primary and Secondary students.
Secondary students:
- 'Water Catchment' excursion, based at the beautiful Upper Yarra Reservoir and Peninsula Tunnels or Rainforest Gallery, or
- 'Water for Life' excursion based on the magnificent Yarra River and surrounding Forests - including the Rainforest Gallery.
- Price is still our low $7.00 per student!
Primary students:
- 'Water for Life' excursion based on the magnificent Yarra River and surrounding Forests - including the Rainforest Gallery. $7.00 per student!
- The new and exciting 'Top Up Your Tank' incursions. There are two 'Top Up' programs available; the first focusing on being Water Wise at your school, and the second one aiming at educating the kids on how to do the same at home. Price is a flat rate of $350, giving you 4 sessions, for up to 30 students per session.
All of our programs are VELS and Primary Connections based, thus enabling you as the teacher to provide a greater learning experience, but staying within the set guidelines.

- For certain fieldwork requirements, programs can be tailored to meet specific needs
- To help secondary schools and other groups meet particular curriculum requirements, other sites and programs can be available on request
- Group walks and talks are available. We offer a great day out with picnic and barbeque areas available
- Learn about plants and pot-up one to take back to school or home
